Raymond James advisors have consistently enjoyed one of the highest “earnings per rep” of any major independent broker/dealer. An independent contractor at Raymond James receives payouts from 80% to 100% (with fees and ticket charges). Payout varies according to mix of business and production. Whether you conduct your business as a traditional transactional broker or as a comprehensive financial planner, whether you charge commissions or use a fee-based approach – Raymond James is here to help your business reach new levels of success. Payout Schedule AFor advisors with an emphasis on the use of professionally managed products such as mutual funds and annuities as well as fee-based asset management accounts. A total of 15 basis points is credited to each financial advisor’s gross production when the total combined average balance in these programs exceeds $500,000 in any quarter. Fee-based (including Passport) assets are excluded. If total assets are less than $500,000, but are greater than $100,000 in Elite, the basis point credit is paid on Elite accounts only. There is no payout on fees or trails from cash balances other than those named above. The payout is 85%, with no ticket charges (12.75 basis points net). Payout Schedule BFor advisors with an emphasis on portfolio management with the use of stocks, bonds, syndicate offerings, etc. Branch managers receive a gross credit of 15 basis points on the amount in excess of $1,500,000. Fee-based (including Passport) assets are excluded. There is no payout on fees or trails from cash balances other than those named above. The credit is paid out quarterly based on the following schedule: 85% on balances of $1,500,000 to $4,999,999 |
