With more than 28 years of experience in the financial services arena, Jim and the team advise on assets for individuals, corporations and retirement plans. He and Tracy specialize in estate planning, retirement planning, financial planning, insurance analysis, risk management and investment allocation. Focusing on legacy planning, Jim works alongside attorneys and CPAs to design, implement and monitor solutions to help clients reach their financial goals and objectives.
Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Cornell University and a master’s degree in psychology from Mansfield University. He joined Raymond James & Associates in 1992 and served as branch manager for 11 years.
As senior vice president, investments, senior management at Raymond James continue to request Jim’s input and presentation at educational meetings, giving other advisors and industry leaders the chance to benefit from his experience.
Building on a career without a single customer complaint is one of Jim’s strong points. His lifetime of experience and pursuit of the highest degree of training allows him to listen to clients’ needs and provide solutions. These skills have resulted in achieving President’s Club and the coveted Chairman’s Council designation, an honor reserved for advisors who demonstrate the highest dedication to serving their clients as well as continued desire for professional growth.
Over the years, he has completed numerous hours of instruction to earn the internal designation of trust specialist, advising on charitable remainder trusts and charitable lead trusts.
Jim and his wife, Susan, participate actively in the Family Resource Center each year with Christmas gifts for children. They also are strong supporters of Hospice and the Florida Sheriffs' Youth Ranch. They have lived in Sugarmill Woods for the last 18 years, having moved down from upstate New York. Jim loves golf and Sue dotes on their three dogs, but they are all about family with their three children (Nicole, Matt and Amy) and their three grandchildren (Kennedy, Logan and Parker) taking center stage!
Tracy has worked directly with Jim since joining Raymond James in 1999. Her career began as an insurance specialist in 1997. Their partnership has allowed them to practice in all areas of the financial planning process. Tracy attained the prestigious certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association.
Tracy has been an active member of Kiwanis International serving as Distinguished Past President of her local club in 2003-2004 and has had the pleasure of working with her community Little League in annual fundraising campaigns since 1999. Tracy lives in Dunnellon with her children, Cory and Bailey.

Nanci joined Raymond James in 1983 and has been operations manager for 18 years. Not only does she oversee the day to day activities in the office but also provides exceptional client service applying her 25 years of experience. Nanci also holds the Series 7 license.
Nanci, along with her children actively participate with the Family Resource Center in providing Christmas gifts to children each year. Her time out of the office is often spent attending and helping with sports events at Lecanto High School and with AAU Volleyball with her youngest daughter, Rachel. Nanci's oldest daughter is a freshman at the University of Florida studying public health. Nanci resides in Pine Ridge with her husband, Brett, and daughter, Rachel, and their two jack russell terriers, Hunter and Harley.
Kris has been a member of our industry for more than 16 years, joining Raymond James in 1997. Her strengths include large estate cases and high-net-worth individuals. In addition to being Series 7 licensed, she also holds a life, health and variable annuity insurance license and Series 31 futures managed funds license, a great attribute in a service associate. Kris is also in the process of obtaining the Series 9/10 securities principal license. In her free time, Kris enjoys horseback riding with her daughter.
Amy is the newest member of the team. She is a Lecanto High School alum and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Florida. While attending UCF, Amy worked in accounting for an Orlando firm, interned at the local branch of Raymond James, and was accepted to UCF’s Center for Financial Planning. Amy also holds an MBA degree and certificate in financial services from the University of Florida.
Between degrees, Amy worked as an analyst in the Financial Planning division of Raymond James’ international headquarters. There she provided technical consultation to company advisors in all planning areas, including: financial, tax, estate and retirement. Amy also passed the CFP® Certification exam and worked closely with the 529 manager to be a primary resource on education savings programs.
Amy and her husband, Stephen, live in Citrus Springs. When not at work or commuting to Gainesville (Stephen is a law student at the University of Florida) Amy and Stephen enjoy spending time with their new baby boy, Logan, as well as their other "children"- golden retrievers named Bentley and Saffron. Amy is also a board member and officer of the Citrus County Education Foundation and involved with the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation.
