  • 05/19/2009: SmartMoney. In the June 2009 SmartMoney Annual Broker Survey, Raymond James was named best full-service broker for the second consecutive year, once again receiving top ratings for customer satisfaction and account statements.

  • 09/30/2008:  J.D. Power and Associates.  Raymond James ranked "Highest in Employee Advisor Satisfaction among Financial Investment Firms in a Tie" in J.D. Power and Associates 2008 Financial Advisor Satisfaction StudySM – adding to the firm's recent investor satisfaction recognition.
  • 09/02/2008:  Human Rights Campaign Foundation.  Raymond James Financial, Inc. earned the highest rating of 100 percent in the 2009 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), an annual survey administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Raymond James joins the ranks of 259 other major U.S. businesses, and one of only three in Florida, which get top marks for their non-discrimination policies and practices.
  • 07/30/2008:  J.D. Power and Associates.  Raymond James received the highest numerical score among full service brokerage firms in the proprietary J.D. Power and Associates 2008 Full Service Investor Satisfaction StudySM. The study was based on responses from 4,027 investors measuring 19 investment firms and measures opinions of investors who used full-service investment institutions. Proprietary study results are based on experiences and perceptions of consumers surveyed in April-May 2008. Raymond James ranked highest in all six categories.
  • 06/30/2008:  Barron's.  Raymond James' focus list posted an uncommon double win, taking first place in the January-June 2008 period, as well as in the 12 months ended June 30. "...In these battles for Wall Street's bragging rights, the highest finishes are always backed by savvy stock picks, but the most common thread has been the avoidance of sectors and stocks that suffered huge collapses. That's particularly important with a relatively small focus list of 20 names or less, as some of our contestants have... Not only did Raymond James' strategy handily outperform the market's 12% drop in the difficult six-month period, it alone had a positive return, up 0.27%."

The 2009 awards are based on the 2008 calendar-year performance of recommendations and estimates on companies that are based in the United States, Europe and Asia. The S&P 500 is an unmanaged index of 500 widely held stocks. The Russell 2000 index measures the performance of the 2,000 smallest companies in the Russell 3000 index, which represents approximately 8% of the U.S. investable market. Calculations for the 2009 Forbes “Blue Chip Analyst” survey were performed by Zacks Investment Research. Zacks ranked the analysts on their stock-picking skills and earnings estimation accuracy over a three year period.
