St. Petersburg, FL – Raymond James Tax Credit Funds, Inc. supplied $5,171,513 in LIHTC equity for the construction of Hickory Hills Apartments located in Kosciusko, MS. This project is being developed in partnership with Greer Investments, LLC. The property will consist of 48 townhome and garden-style apartment units. The apartments are from one to three bedrooms, with 20% targeting families who earn less than 50% of the area median income, and the rest for families earning less than 60% of the area median income. The property boasts dishwashers and washer/dryer connections in every unit, with a variety of community amenities including a pool, picnic area and playground. All of the construction is on schedule to reach completion by January 2008. Raymond James has been a sponsor of affordable housing since 1969 and has been an active participant in the Tax Credit program since its inception in 1986. To date, Raymond James has raised over $1.9 billion in equity and sponsored 43 Tax Credit Funds, with investments in over 1,100 tax credit projects in 43 states.
