Bill Haas, has been in the financial services industry for thirty-one years. His extensive background melds the training and experience of a CLU, attorney, and accountant to provide a comprehensive analysis of your individual needs.
The Experience of a Financial Planner
He will advise you as a financial planner, having worked directly in that field since 1968. Bill began his own business with tax, investment planning and insurance in 1976, forming Tax and Investment Group in 1980. He has been a branch manager with Raymond James Financial Services Inc. since 1982.
Before starting his own practice, Bill was vice president of the Aims Group, Inc., counseling officers and directors of the Fortune 500 in the selection of fringe benefit packages for corporate officers. Prior to this, he worked in advanced underwriting at the corporate office of Metropolitan Life, and is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). His company, Tax and Investment Plans, is a registered investment advisor with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

We maintain a personal and direct relationship with you, and inform you of external factors, which may have an impact on your decisions or holdings.
The Training of an Accountant*
He sees your situation from the perspective of a tax accountant, having received a masters in taxation (MST) from Bentley and as a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
The Perspective of a Tax Attorney*
Bill can view your estate or business issues from the perspective of a tax attorney. He served as an attorney advising the United States Treasury Department after graduation from Princeton University and Boston College Law School. He has a masters in tax law from Boston University, and for 14 years chaired a sub-committee on insurance and investments for the tax section of the American Bar Association. He also continues to be active in a small group of tax attorneys and accountants who teach in symposiums such as ALI-ABA and state bar meetings. These organizations of attorneys direct their concentration to estate and business matters. The small group also has a focus as a lobbying organization promoting tax legislation to benefit the individual and small business. He is on the legal advisory board of The Small Business Council of America.
