Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development

Roger Fakes serves as senior vice president, director of business development for Raymond James Trust and has over 23 years of industry experience. Prior to his current position, Roger served as a trust consultant to the Central Region and previous to that, he served as a managing trust officer for Raymond James Trust. Before joining Raymond James Trust, Roger worked as a financial advisor at Morgan Keegan, where he provided comprehensive wealth solutions to his high-net-worth clients. For the eight years prior to serving as a financial advisor, he served as a trust officer for both Regions Morgan Keegan Trust (RMKT) and SunTrust, ultimately serving as senior trust officer in the Memphis office of RMKT.

Roger received his bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University, his law degree from the University of Memphis and his master of divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary. Roger holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation and is an honors graduate of Cannon Financial Institute Personal Trust School.
