Mark Abbott is a managing director and the chief operating officer for Global Equities at Raymond James. He joined the firm 20 years ago as assistant to the chairman working for Tom James, and went on to hold leadership roles in technology and operations before joining Global Equities & Investment Banking. Prior to Raymond James, Mark spent several years in technology product development with public companies and venture backed startups. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
