Born in Charlotte but raised in Hickory, Kit received his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Appalachian State University in 1995. He spent the first 15 years of his career in various marketing, sales and management roles before transitioning to the financial services industry as a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors. Kit’s goal with each client is to deliver comprehensive wealth management through a combination of earned trust, proper planning, and individual strategies for what he calls “the business of life”. In turn, this allows his clients to enjoy the emotional and spiritual aspects of living. Working with success-minded individuals and families, many of his clients are executives, business owners or employers. Kit holds both the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation and Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®) designation and is currently studying at the College for Financial Planning to attain the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification.

In addition to helping clients, Kit enjoys volunteering locally. He is an active member of the Hickory Museum of Art, the SALT Block Foundation, Hickory Rotary Club, SIR Network, and has coached multiple youth sports over the years. He is Co-Founder and Director for The Autolawn Euro Classic Car Show, held annually for the benefit of the Hickory Museum of Art. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Danielle and son Charlie. He also has a passion for golf, cooking, travel, snow skiing, and an occasional game of ping-pong.
